Among them is veteran Realtor Roberta Carlton of Arlington. Beginning her career in 1983, Roberta came from a background as a paralegal. Now she handles all types of residential real estate in the Arlington and surrounding Metroplex areas. “My mother joined RE/MAX® to achieve greater independence as a successful business woman, and her success is due to her philosophy of treating each client as a friend and not as a transaction,” comments Roberta’s son, Jerry Carlton, who is also an agent with RE/MAX Pinnacle Group Realtors. Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Jerry taught customer service in corporate America and sees his mother putting those same values he taught for many years into practice every day.
